Meditation – Day 26

Not bad! That was my first thought at the end of today’s session. I decided to do an unguided meditation. After all, I have had some practice by now. And it went rather well.

I started sitting down and counting my breaths until 10 for a couple of times. Then, I lay down but kept counting. I drifted away several times and there were times I wanted to check my smart phone to see how much time had gone by. But, I managed to do 14 minutes.

That’s why I think it was actually a good meditation.

I can’t think of nothing else now but of the end of this challenge.

I now believe that the fact that a challenge has a beginning, middle and end is a very good thing. Specially the end part.

It helps us move on and not give up because eventually we will reach it.

We just have to keep doing it one day at a time and we have an idea of when it will end, even if it ends a bit later than we intended 🙂

Don’t get me wrong, I am loving the challenge but I am also glad that it is almost over.

I just have to be carefull after it ends to keep doing my daily practice of meditation and maybe I can report back to you a few months from now about the benefits I experienced by doing it continuously, by turning i into a habit.

Four more days to go 🙂
