Meditation – Day 10
Today, on the 5th day of 7 Days of Calm from the app Calm, the sweet female voice talked about the value of non-doing.
What I think she meant was the value of stopping and meditating. There are many times where I am not doing anything special, like watching television but I never really relax and distress and in the end I feel like I lost precious time even though I enjoyed the movie or series I was watching.
However, with meditation it feels different, like there is a purpose to it, even if it is only to write about it 🙂
After meditating I always feel less stressed, with a sense of accomplishment or of more hope towards the future I want.
I am feeling happy right now, because I have reached the 10th day of my 30 day challenge, which means I have come one-third of the way of the goal I set for myself.
I don’t think I would have made it this far if I hadn’t decided to post about it.
That’s very important when you want to succeed at something and you can do it in many ways. You can post about it in a blog like I am doing 🙂
Or you can tell all your friends about it through social media.
Just don’t let excuses get in your way. It is very easy to give up.
What is hard is to push forward, stay on the path and fight for your dreams!
