Meditation – Day 18
Perfect Health! On my 18th day of this amazing challenge I listened to a guided meditation from the app Let’s Meditate.
This meditation was intended to help us maintain perfect health by teaching two breathing techniques that can help deal with unmet needs, something I really need these days.
I fell asleep near the end of the 12 minutes practice but I woke up soon after feeling rested and energised. Since I meditated at the end of a long day it is only normal to be sleepy. Even so I felt well when I woke up and that is the power of meditation.
I think I am almost ready to move to another challenge but keeping the 10 minute practice of meditation as a daily routine is definitely a must.
I would like to start a daily exercise routine of at least 30 minutes doing something like walking, jogging, going to the gym, playing soccer or doing Yoga.
I need to start moving because at age of 41 it is difficult to keep energy high without some sort of exercise. The body feels heavy, lacking flexibility, with back pains, shoulder pains and other pains 🙂
When the body isn’t well the mind suffers and the opposite is true as well. There has to be some sort of balance between them.
We have to feel well both in mind and body to be happy and fulfilled.
For now I will keep my daily meditation and see if I can practice it longer, 20 to 30 minutes.
